Up to 200-year-old planks are sawn up and used as the top layer for our window scantlings. Characteristics typical of old wood, such as discoloration, cracks, worm-eaten areas, wooden dowels, knotholes, etc., are given special consideration as a grading criterion. With original reclaimed wood, each production is absolutely unique. The number and size of the cracks and knots, as well as the frequency of the typical old wood characteristics vary according to the availability of the raw material and underline the naturalness of this unique material.
The pictures represent only our standardized products.
Custom wood combinations and special sizes are also made to order. Individual slats can be supplied.
